Jim Miskelly

Design Engineer

Jim is a Design Engineer at Grove Design. His interest in design and production has always been apparent, specifically within the practical, hands on aspects of engineering. Jim enjoys the variety of work that is carried out by Grove Design, and uses his skill set to develop, test and improve a range of industrial products. Problem solving is an element of design and engineering that Jim finds thought provoking, resulting in a focus on perfecting design concepts and developing effective solutions.

Away from work, Jim likes to explore other areas of design and production. His interest in different production and prototyping techniques has led to the exploration of processes such as CNC cutting, plastic injection moulding and electroforming. This maintains Jim’s interest in design and engineering, contributing to building projects, and electronic projects such as developing drones.
